What to Do

December - A Hilton Head Island holiday tradition for over 20 years, the Dove Street Festival of Lights returns to the Shelter Cove Towne Centre for the holiday season with over 70,000 lights! Park your car, stroll through the lights and falling snow (bubbles), all while enjoying nightly holiday entertainment, shopping, dining and much more

April - A community event held at Shelter Cove Community Park to provide the Best Easter Egg Hunt in Hilton Head!

April - Enjoy a festive wagon ride and marvel at the spring colors and abundant plant and wildlife in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve with the Easter Wagon Ride. Cookies and refreshments will be provided before the tour.

Spring/Summer -  The Farmer’s Market at Sea Pines Center presented by Lowcountry Produce is a community event to bring the farm to the market for the residents and visitors of Hilton Head Island. Every Tuesday, (in-season) weather permitting, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

July - All throughout the month, enjoy a fun summer night floating on a tube at the Harbour Town Swimming Pool while watching a movie and eating pizza with your family every Wednesday night from 8-10 p.m.

January - The GMHHI’s annual gala “Honoring the Carpenters, Boat Builders, Blacksmiths and Masonries” of Gullah tradition. A popular fund-raising event that sells out quickly with a Silent Auction, Oyster Roast and LowCountry Boil. Don't miss out on a LowCountry Experience. 

October - Celebrate Halloween in The Sea Pines Resort, featuring crafts, activities, a costume parade, cookies, cider, Hay Rides and trick-or-treating in Harbour Town. Participants of all ages are welcome to attend and are invited to come in costume.

Summer - A nightly family-friendly festival, (Monday - Friday) on the waterfront at Shelter Cove featuring live music, clowns, face painting, carnival games and treats from vendors. All of these fun activities are set amid the great restaurants and shops at Harbourtown.

April - The annual Easter Egg Hunt will kick off with the Easter Egg Bunny. Provided by The Sea Pines Resort and the shops in Harbour Town. 

December - Enjoy the Harbour Town Holiday Lights, in The Sea Pines Resorts’ Harbour Town. Stroll along the harbor and enjoy the illuminated seasonal figures, with the centerpiece being a towering Christmas tree. Harbour Town is the perfect place for families to be this holiday season with live entertainment and activities. 

The Harbour Town Spring Fest will not only feature a Sidewalk Sale with Harbour Town shops offering great deals and fabulous finds, but also a free concert by a local favorite. In the scenic Harbour Town, there are all kinds of nautical activities, including a variety of water sports, nature tours and boat rides, as well as great dining on the harbour all day.

November - Santa will be heading this way for a Black Friday Event! Right at Coligny Plaza! Enjoy a shopping market with Santa making his famous Helicopter entrance! 

May - 150 of the finest artists and crafters will converge for a two-day juried outdoor gallery style art exhibit. Enjoy a wide variety of original artwork & affordable crafts.

January - This is a family event that will have inflatable rides, a snowfield, and entertainment! A very winter experience, on Hilton Head Island, Let It Snow!!!!
